COMPANY HISTORY
We pride ourselves on taking care of our customers and employees ---- many of whom have been with us through second-generation small businesses, as well. The company was started by John F. White in 1952. He ran the enterprise with style and vigor for three decades. His great passion for and love of customer service was infused in his successors. Alice White, stepped in to take the company through its next generation of growth -- directing field operations, sales and inventory management.
Being a champion for the service techs was a labor of love for her. In 2011, she was profiled in the trade publication Fuel Oil News for her 29 years of business leadership. "Women in the Industry," noted her unmatched expertise and work ethic: "Alice could well retire, but due to her dedication to her customers, she can be found daily at the counter greeting and serving their needs."
Today, the company is run by Steve White who remains committed to excellence in customer service, industry knowledge and product quality. He has a long history in the biodiesel and renewable liquid heating fuel industry. He joined the business in 1980 and has been working alongside professionals in the trade as a member of the Energy Marketers Association of Rhode Island, Chapter President of Service Managers Association, and contributor the National Association of Oil and Energy Service Professionals.
